Even though there are many protection options to choose from, securing the most suitable contract with the right features is essential to the service we offer. The decisions made during the discussion and research stages can greatly influence the selection of the most appropriate policy for your needs, and we are here to support you at every step of the process.
Examples of the most popular protection policies include ...
Term Assurance
This serves many purposes; most commonly to protect a family by paying out a lump sum in the event of death or critical illness within a set time frame. Term Assurance, whilst usually fixed once a contract starts, can provide a level benefit or one that increases or decreases to suit your requirements. Death benefit can be complemented with terminal illness / total & permanent disability in accordance with the needs or indeed budget.
Family Income Benefit
Similar to Term Assurance, but the benefit is paid out annually until the end of the contract, rather than a lump sum payment.
Income Protection
This is designed to replace lost income in the event of an accident or illness that prevents you from working for a prolonged period of time. This is a ‘must have’ contract for any self-employed individuals who cannot rely upon an employer to support them; or any employees whose contract of employment does not offer a comprehensive long-term sickness package.
Private Medical Insurance
This insurance covers the costs of private medical treatment for curable short term medical conditions commonly referred to as acute conditions. It includes the costs of surgery, specialist’s fees, accommodation and nursing at a private hospital or in a private ward of an NHS hospital.
PLEASE NOTE:
Protection policies often have no cash in value. If premiums are not maintained cover will lapse.
